Accepted Payment Methods

Sealed Republic accepts the following payment methods at checkout:

All payments are processed securely through Stripe — one of the world’s most trusted payment processors, certified at PCI-DSS Level 1 (the highest level of payment security available).

Payment Security

• Sealed Republic never stores your card number, CVV, or billing details on our servers
• All transactions are 256-bit SSL encrypted
• Stripe handles all sensitive payment data in a fully isolated, PCI-compliant environment
• Apple Pay and Google Pay add an additional layer of biometric authentication for maximum security

When You Are Charged

• Standard Orders: Charged immediately at checkout upon order confirmation
• Pre-Orders: Charged in full at the time of purchase — not at shipment
• No hidden fees: The price you see at checkout is the price you pay

Currency

All prices on Sealed Republic are listed and charged in US Dollars (USD). International customers may see currency conversion fees applied by their bank or card issuer — these are outside our control.

Order Confirmation

After a successful payment you will receive:

1. ✅ An order confirmation email with your order number
2. ✅ A payment receipt from Stripe
3. ✅ A shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order ships

If you do not receive a confirmation email within 1 hour of purchase, check your spam folder or contact us at orders@sealedrepublic.com

Failed Payments

If your payment fails at checkout:

• Double check your billing address matches your card on file
• Ensure your card has sufficient funds or credit available
• Try an alternative payment method (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
• Contact your bank to confirm no block is placed on the transaction
• If the issue persists, contact us at orders@sealedrepublic.com

⚠️ Failed payments do not reserve your order. Products remain available to other customers until payment is successfully completed.

Fraud Prevention

Sealed Republic uses Stripe’s advanced fraud detection tools including:

• ✅ Stripe Radar — AI-powered fraud detection on every transaction
• ✅ 3D Secure authentication where required by your bank
• ✅ Address Verification System (AVS) checks
• ✅ CVV verification on all card transactions

Suspicious or flagged orders may be subject to additional verification before processing. We reserve the right to cancel any order suspected of fraudulent activity and issue a full refund.

Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank:

We resolve the vast majority of issues quickly and directly. Chargebacks that are filed without prior contact may result in your account being flagged and future orders being declined.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is calculated at checkout where applicable based on your delivery address and current state tax laws. Oregon state orders may be subject to applicable local tax regulations.

Invoice & Receipt

A full payment receipt is automatically sent to your email after every successful transaction via Stripe. If you need a formal invoice for wholesale or business purposes, contact us at orders@sealedrepublic.com.

Google Pay & Apple Pay

When paying with Google Pay or Apple Pay:

• Your actual card number is never shared with Sealed Republic
• A unique device token is used for each transaction
• Refunds are returned to your Google Pay or Apple Pay wallet within 10 business days
